Mandate
Section 440 of Republic Act 7160 otherwise known as the Local
Government Code of 1991 mandates each municipality, consisting of
a group of Barangays, to serve primarily as a general purpose
government for the coordination and delivery of basic, regular and
direct services and effective governance of the inhabitants within
its territorial jurisdiction.
The Municipality of Catigbian delivers various services to its
constituents not limited to: infrastructure, social and economic
development.

- Mayor's/Special Permit
- Authentication of Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates and
Issuance of Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) through the
Batch Request Entry Query System (BREQS) in coordination with
National Statistics Office (NSO)
